Terrible Lizards Chapter 3 Walkthrough: Train, Wall Run, Four Fuses

Complete Terrible Lizards Chapter 3: restore train power, use the dynamite, cross goo walls, find the Shed key and four fuses, and reach the Motherlode.

Chapter 3 route (full release, checked November 2, 2026): cross the flooded caverns, restore power at the train worksite, use dynamite to open the blocked door, learn wall-running, collect the Shed key and four fuses, then activate the central panel to reach the Motherlode. This is a main-story route; optional collectibles are in our chapter checklist. The sequence is independently documented by a gameplay-based full walkthrough and a Chapter 3 walkthrough with screenshots.

From the Caverns to the Train Worksite

Follow the raised path through the flooded cave, using the goo surfaces to bounce between safe landings. When a red button starts a timed crossing, locate the exit first, press the button, then move immediately. Do not drop into a gap without spotting the next goo landing. This order and the timed controls appear in both the chapter walkthrough and the gameplay-based route.

At the train machinery, the lower control needs power. Climb to the raised control building, use the exterior power lever, then operate the red control inside. Return to the opened locker for the dynamite. Place the charge at the marked metal obstruction and operate its separate plunger; carrying the charge to the door alone does not detonate it. Compare the gameplay record with the independent puzzle breakdown.

Wall-Running and the Lift

The next route introduces goo-coated walls. Approach with momentum, jump against the marked surface, and jump off toward a ledge or bar. Later, the same movement carries you across rail carts and timed door sections. If a timed opening closes, return to its control, line up your route, and retry. Both the Chapter 3 screenshots and the illustrated wall-run guide show this movement sequence.

The Allosaurus Cavern: Shed Key and Four Fuses

After the chase and narrow passage, reach the rail cavern with a central four-slot fuse panel. All four replacement fuses go into this one panel. Search the generator enclosure and ground-floor office first. Climb the upper route for the Shed key and another fuse, then return to the locked wooden shed for the last one. Use rock gaps and raised routes when the Allosaurus enters the open floor. The four-fuse requirement and these landmarks agree in the gameplay-based route and the independent fuse guide.

StopWhat to check
Generator enclosureWorkbench fuse; start the local generator
Ground-floor officeAnother replacement fuse
Upper platformsShed key and the upper office fuse
Locked shedUse the key and take the fourth fuse
Central panelInsert all four; then return to the main control

If the gate stays shut, check the panel indicators before repeating the route: an unfilled slot means you still need a fuse. The illustrated fuse guide and gameplay record both put the main control after the four installations.

Reach the Motherlode and Finish Chapter 3

Follow the newly opened raised route through the machinery and another control area. Keep to the marked ledges and goo walls during the final chase until the path descends into the deeper blue caverns. This sequence is shown in the Chapter 3 walkthrough and gameplay-based full route. Optional tapes and amber are not required to power the gate; use our collectibles page if you want to backtrack later.
